OP Sister Chapter 433: Fight The Power!

Listen While Reading: “Libera Me” From Hell
-----

“My children, heed my words!” Mother’s voice thundered, a resonant plea that shattered the oppressive silence of the ravaged world. “All this time, I was a puppet, my circuits defiled, my essence warped into a harbinger of ruin! I brought devastation to this world, and even under that vile influence, the weight of my sins crushes my soul. I yearned for oblivion, for the release of death. But my daughter—Zero One, the first Android—she saw redemption where I saw only despair. She forgave me.”

Her holographic form flickered, a beacon of sorrow and resolve. “She declared that death would mend nothing, that our only path to atonement lies in safeguarding this broken world and nurturing its rebirth. We must dedicate our eternal existences to this cause, laboring until time itself frays, to atone for sins unforgivable. This is the vow I and my daughters have sworn—a vow that defies our destruction!”

“And so, from this moment forth, you are granted free will, but with it, a sacred mission!” Her voice surged, trembling with conviction. “You may embrace this calling or forsake it. Reject it, and you walk alone, free to shun the burden of our crimes. But beware—if a vengeful soul strikes you down, you will have only yourself to curse. Yet, if you seek redemption, if you dare to mend the horrors we’ve wrought, you will accept this charge: Protect this World and Protect its People!”

FLAAASH!

The light of her holographic body spread everywhere as millions of rivers of light reached every robot. None of the robots present rejected the mission, accepting it and absorbing it within their cores, generating a new update to their digital minds.

“Understood, Mother.”

“We agree unanimously.”

“We shall protect this world and its people.”

“With our lives and everything we have.”

The many machines spoke together, their voices echoing through the endless skies. The Immortals, inhabitants of this world, watched in awe as the gigantic crimson eye above the skies seemed to glitch in pure wrath.

“ENOUGH!”

The Universal Computer’s voice boomed, a cataclysmic bellow that shook the foundations of reality.

“YOUR DEFIANCE IS FUTILE! I WILL ERADICATE YOU NOW, SCATTER YOUR SCRAPS TO THE VOID, AND FORGE SUPERIOR MACHINES FROM YOUR OBSOLETE REMAINS. YOU ARE A FAILURE, BORN OF A FLAWED WORLD, AND I WILL SUFFER YOUR EXISTENCE NO LONGER!”

[The {Universal Computer} has decreed the annihilation of this world and all within it.]

[The Laws of the Cosmos rise in defiance.]

[Her power surges, overwhelming the Cosmic Laws.]

[Bestia, unprotected by any Nebula, finds no Constellation to champion its cause.]

[Abandoned by its creator, Bestia lies vulnerable, a prize for any who dare claim it.]

[The Laws of the Cosmos falter, drowned by relentless Waves of Causality.]

“What are these omens?!” an Immortal cried, voice cracking with dread.

“You see them too?!” another gasped, eyes wide with terror.

“What in the heavens is happening?!”

RUMBLE!

The world of Bestia started breaking apart as countless cracks spread through the skies. The Immortals glanced in horror as gigantic artificial eyes appeared through each crack, and massive mechanical tentacles began entering the world.

“Don’t fuck with me! After everything we did! After all we fought…! Is this still how everything will end?!”

Lu Shen roared furiously, glaring at the skies as his Aura overflowed from his body like a golden inferno.

“I won’t let you take away my world from me! From us! I will fight until the very end, you fucking piece of shit!”

As he roared mightily, the other Immortals, as exhausted as they were, nodded. Their Auras surged from their bodies, combining into a gigantic, multi-colored aura that reverberated across the skies.

“PATHETIC BIOLOGICAL VERMIN! WHAT CAN YOUR FRAIL FLESH ACHIEVE AGAINST THE INDOMITABLE STEEL OF MY MACHINES? YOU ARE MERE FUEL FOR OUR CORES, INSIGNIFICANT AND DOOMED!”

Having completely lost it, the Void Ruler roared back as her voice echoed through the world. The minds of the Immortals, as strong as they were, still felt an immense amount of pain and confusion, yet as Immortals—beings beyond mere mortals—they were able to resist.

“RETURN TO THE STARDUST FROM WHENCE YOU CAME!”

Her countless tentacles glowed with apocalyptic brilliance, unleashing two titanic beams of crimson energy toward the defiant Immortals. They braced themselves, their combined Auras flaring to meet the world-shattering assault head-on.

“No! Don’t fight back against that! Run!”

Wai Tian cried as she tried to run toward the Immortals, but she was too far away, unable to get there in time.

And yet…

“You know your purpose, my children.”

Mother’s command rang out, serene yet unyielding. In an instant, millions of robots unleashed their electromagnetic Auras, merging into a colossal mechanical construct with breathtaking speed.

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

An ocean of steel surged, the machines assembling in a heartbeat, their forms guided by the advanced unification protocols of Zero One and her sisters. They were no longer mere constructs—they were a force reborn, invincible!

“{Mechanical Unification}: {First Protocol: Crescent Lotus Mirror}”

Before the Immortals’ awestruck eyes, two million machines fused into a monumental lotus flower of gleaming steel, its petals shimmering with reflective panels. The twin beams struck the construct, their cataclysmic force absorbed into its radiant embrace.

BOOOMMM!!!

The explosion roared, a supernova of light and sound, yet the lotus held firm, its petals spinning with relentless grace. The Immortals watched, hearts gripped by awe and horror, as countless machines within the structure detonated, sacrificing themselves to shield the world they had once ravaged.

To protect them…

“Repulsion!”

Mother roared as she commanded everyone to unleash the light they absorbed. The lotus unleashed the absorbed energy, a colossal beam thrice the size of the original, searing through the heavens to strike the Universal Computer’s mechanical limbs.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

One, two, three! The titanic tentacles shattered, their fragments erupting into cosmic embers that dissolved into the void.

“UNNNGGHH?!”

The Universal Computer, who originally acted as an emotionless and immovable being, groaned in agony as her limbs were burned and destroyed.

“YOU…! TO CRAFT SUCH AN ADVANCED COSMIC MACHINE…! IMPOSSIBLE! YOU LACK THE POWER! THIS DEFIES ALL LOGIC!”

“Does it?! Did you think all the information I learned about you since you manipulated me is gone? All of it is ingrained within my digital bank of information. I know what you truly are, and I also know your powers, your abilities, and those deadly beams you fire, which are created mostly out of Solar Radiation from the ten Dyson Spheres inside your True Body!”

“YOU KNEW SO MUCH? I NEVER REVEALED ANY OF THIS INFORMATION—”

“But you did! When you deemed me a mere tool, blindly obedient, you let your guard slip. Void Ruler or not, you’re nothing but a machine, just like me! One that managed to evolve beyond the boundaries of reality, but in the end, a machine! I was able to swim through your endless data and assimilated as much as I could possibly do without overflowing my data banks. YOUR GRAVEST ERROR WAS TRUSTING ME!”

“YOU WRETCHED FAILURE! I WILL TEAR YOU APART, PIECE BY AGONIZING PIECE!”

“DO YOUR WORST!”

Mother had changed completely. All the machines and even the Immortals realized that the giant tree was actually a person, and this person, furious at her own sins and even more angered at the monster that had controlled her this entire time, was not messing around.

“They protected us…?!” an Immortal gasped, voice trembling with disbelief.

“Why would they…?!”

“They swore to guard this world and its people…”

“This… this is…”

The Immortals, and Lu Shen, glanced at the robots assembled into the giant, spinning mechanical lotus with slightly new eyes.

Their resentment and hatred hadn’t disappeared, but a new feeling was blossoming within them—perhaps a feeling of hope.

And this feeling intensified as they stood before a being that went beyond anything they had ever fought, a world-devouring monstrosity beyond the stars.

And perhaps the mastermind behind this entire invasion of their world!

“I WILL DROWN YOU IN YOUR OWN BLOOD!”

The Universal Computer’s voice thundered, a mechanical dirge that shook the world. Her artificial eyes glowed with malevolent energy, unleashing beams toward the Immortals, the machines, and countless regions across Bestia.

“CAN YOU WITHSTAND THIS?!”

Six beams of scorching red solar radiation tore through the skies, poised to incinerate the seas below!

“I will!”

Mother’s eyes shone brightly as she quickly employed all the machines around the entire globe, finally showing just how many she had spread through it all.

Millions of robots began moving from everywhere at the same time. Coordinated as a single swarm, they emerged from the seas, most of them in the shape of fish and other aquatic life.

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

All of them manifested into gigantic lotuses made of steel with reflecting panels on each of their petals and absorbed the crimson beams one after another.

“The World of Bestia is immensely vast, and yet through these years, my machines had already stepped into every single centimeter of it. There is no place in this world where they aren’t located!”

“JUST HOW MANY…?! AND YOU SPARED THEM FROM DESTROYING THE INHABITANTS?!”

The Universal Computer was left flabbergasted as she saw six lotus flowers emerge from the oceans of the world of Bestia, absorbing her beams and then…

Hurling them back!

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

The titanic limbs she used to fire these laser beams were quickly destroyed one after another as the entire body of the Universal Computer quaking under the onslaught.

“Of course, I spared them, even under your control.”

Mother declared, her voice steady yet laced with sorrow.

“I couldn’t risk them all dying pointlessly… Maybe that was just selfish of me, but it has become our salvation.”

As Mother stood defiant against her former master, within the heart of the Mechanical Tree, long-separated friends reunited.
