The Heavenly Martial Empress Returns Chapter 275: The Archdemon Of Games

Despite having finished him off through beheading at lightning speed, Bing Xue realized she was but a small second too late. Her Time Aura had deactivated quite quickly, as she had rushed with its creation instead of taking a few more seconds to assemble a formation inside of her Inner Realm to expand its duration, making it so she was unable to continue with the time being stopped for too long.

However, there was also something else within this glitching space, as she had shattered the dome-shaped dimension where everyone was trapped because of these strange cards, which were also draining her own Time Essence very quickly, making the duration of her Time Stopping Aura much shorter as well.

CRASH!

After beheading Djet, Bing Xue realized that the card he was about to use was indeed activated barely in time. She noticed within the card the sign of several beasts melting together into a singular, stronger being, with a question mark in the center.

Her mind moved rapidly, discovering three types of Cards so far. Monster Summoning Cards that allowed for the summoning of fighting monsters of great strength, Monster Swap Cards that allowed someone to swap their card with another and gain a powerful ally instantly, such as what happened to Ra, who seemed brainwashed instantly, and lastly, the “Fusion” Card, are being used right in this moment.

FLAAASH!

As the card shone brightly and its powers activated just as she finished beheading him, Bing Xue saw the bodies of Ra, Khnum, and the Golden Dragon’s remains floating in midair, beginning to merge into a mass of metal and flesh!

She would have tried to stop this thing from being born, but the Cores of Ra and Khnum were inside, especially Ra, a very precious friend of Merneith.

If she went all out, Ra would die. Hence, she hesitated, stepping back to see what it would become.

FLUOSH!

From within the glitching space and its many cracks that led to a strange dimension, black fog and slimy red and black-colored mud fell into the mass of metal and flesh, merging with it. As it did, tumors, eyes, claws, and jaws began popping from the mass, beginning to take on an abhorrent, humanoid form.

“WHO… DARES… INTERRUMPT… MY GAME?!”

And a monstrous, demonic voice echoed from the “thing” that was being formed, with long, lanky legs and arms, sharp and long claws, and a head made from combining Ra and Khnum’s head with the golden dragon’s skull at the center, with glowing red eyes within its empty sockets.

Then, the monstrous head was covered by a strange, golden mask made out of the metals from Ra and Khnum and the scales of the Golden Dragon.

The mask was shaped as a bright, crescent sun with sharp edges as sunrays, and a smiling, laughing face with two empty eyes, two red lights shining brightly, and a small, pointy nose.

TRUUUM!

A tremendous aura of demonic power emerged from the entity, twisting and warping space itself; everything felt incredibly heavy out of nowhere; even Bing Xue’s children felt the intense heat and cursed power coming from him.

“T-That’s…!”

Bing Xue noticed Belze beginning to panic; her small hands were trembling as she quickly used her Demonic Aura to push the children away from the demonic entity’s dark presence.

“Belze, do you know what this thing is?” Bing Xue asked as Merneith and Hekita glanced at the creature emerging.

“Ra!” Merneith panicked. “W-What happened…?! What did you do to my friend?!”

As she started crying, Hekita held her back from rushing into danger; Anubis was by their sides, protecting them in his full jackal form.

“That demon…!” Belze muttered. “He’s…! I knew it..! It’s you! Belphegor!!! The Demon King of Sloth!”

Belze screamed in anger and panic as she saw the monstrous demonic entity glare at her without showing any emotions, still sitting down cross-legged over the ruins’ floor.

“Aaaaahh… You… It has been eons since I’ve seen that mask… Belzeeraskhasn Sataniankicha Herbellzuhbub. Or for short… Beelzebub.”

“Tch…”

Belze gritted her teeth as Belphegor instantly said her true name, a name that not even Bing Xue or the others knew.

“Wait, Beelzebub?”

Bing Xue noticed her children feeling strangely feverish, quickly encompassing them and everyone else with stronger auras of her energy.

FLAAASH!

As she did that, she glared at the Demon, Belphegor.

“Oh? Is it you? The one that destroyed my Game when it just began?! You’re such… a rude woman… To do such a thing… so cruel! Why would you do that? It was fun! You know?! I WAS HAVING A LOT OF FUN!”

“The cards come from a world where people constantly battle with them in duels; does that mean that every single duel is overseen by you or something?”

“HEH…”

Belphegor smiled through his golden mask as a long tongue appeared beneath it, licking his mask from the blood of the Golden Dragon splattering everywhere over it.

“YES… IT IS FUN…! IT’S SO MUCH FUN TO SEE THEM FIGHT WITH THESE CARDS! AREN’T THEY GREAT?! DON’T YOU WANT TO COLLECT THEM? THEY’RE INCREDIBLE… FORGED USING THE SOULS OF DEMONS.”

“The Souls of Demons? I guessed as much… Similar to the books of my Library then? No… this is different.”

“ANYBODY THAT USES THEM IS CURSED. THEIR SOUL, THEIR MINDS, AND THEIR EVERYTHING ARE CURSED TO BECOME ONE WITH THESE CARDS. THEY THINK OF NOTHING BUT DUELS! THEIR ENTIRE LIVES… THEY WASTE THEM WITH THESE CARDS!”

 “So you go insane when using these cards until you only think about dueling… What a cursed existence.”

“THEY GIVE ME THEIR WEALTH, THEIR PASSION, THEIR DREAMS, THEIR HUMANITY… AND ONCE THEY DIE, THEIR YUMMY SOULS!”

“So it’s all a ploy to devour the souls of an entire world’s worth of people…” Said Bing Xue. “I understand now. Quite the elaborate plan. Cannot you simply descend and devour their souls directly?”

“HAHAHAHAHA! YOU’RE A FUNNY ONE! WE GREAT DEMON KINGS ARE ANCHORED TO HELL! WE ARE BOTH ITS PILLARS AND ITS PRISONERS! AND YOU’RE SAYING I DESCEND THERE MYSELF?! YOU’RE FUCKING STUPID OR SOMETHING?! HAHAHAHAHA!”

“I see! That’s good to hear, Sir Belphegor,” Bing Xue smiled. “Now, I have a proposal for you.”

“HMMM?”
