MONEYBALL - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Moneyball! This movie is FANTASTIC!! I was so invested in this story, and Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, and Philip Seymour Hoffman portrayed their characters so well. Enjoy!

Hey Addie - I'm excited to be back with my OG reactor! (had to unsub for a bit for money reasons but I'm back now baby!) I love this movie and I'm ready to watch it and all the stuff I've missed out on the last few months!

The Dingo

The best part of this movie was seeing the old names of players who I greatly enjoyed watching growing up. Baseball and memories are incredible.

true story Tracy, CA.. just a little over an hour away from the Bay Area. I was already an Oakland Raiders fan and so I completed the package and started liking the A's I've lived and died with the success and failure of the A's, still do. What happened was a gift that will always be cherished.

I remember buying the physical copy, back when we still had movie stores. Wishing for some some great bonus features, only to have 1 single blooper. No cast interviews or BTS or commentaries. just a single blooper of Brad Pitt laughing and completely losing it after Jonah Hill shown him that clip of big dude falling at the end. I thought "just one single blooper?" but it was hilarious he could NOT get it together. so I can't Not think of that when watching this from now on..

Mister Lou

I was surprised how much you liked this one. I was thinking, "Eh... Addie's not into baseball and this one is more drama than comedy. This is going to bore her." I stand corrected! I have deepened faith. 😁

I second the idea of watching Trouble with the Curve. Here’s a few other sports films to check out: Breaking Away (1979 Cycling) Tin Cup (1996 Golf) For Love of the Game (1999 Baseball) The Replacements (2000 Football) Warrior (2011 MMA) Breaking Away is a personal favorite.

Now having seen this, I feel like you should consider watching "Trouble with the Curve", which watches like a rebuttal of "Moneyball" and works well as a companion film.
