2026-01-11 16:52:19 +0000 UTCSo apparently the author confirmed that deku giving bakugo ofa was originally a scrapped ending idea for the original manga but since he didnt plan on using it anymore he instead let the anime staff use it for a movie lol. Obviously with some changes like deku keeping the quirk after the movie so it can sort of work with the anime continuity
