SHAUN OF THE DEAD - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Shaun of the Dead! This one was soooo much fun! Overall, I think I like Hot Fuzz better, but I'm excited to check out the final movie in the Cornetto Trilogy soon (probably next month). Enjoy!

Well, like Leone's so-called 'Man with No Name' trilogy (which was really more of a marketing strategy by United Artists to promote those films in America) and Bergman's 'Silence of God' trilogy, this is really more of a conceptual trilogy, since there's no carryover in characters or story from movie to movie.

The funniest thing about Shaun of the Dead is before people change, they go through their "everyday" routines like they were Zombies. Once they have turned, nothing really changed. We see them in their usual locations but this time they're dead. You may notice it during editing if you haven't finished already. Even though you saw Hot Fuzz before this we see the connections with either other cast members or how scenes are played out. Hot Fuzz does rank higher than this for me. I'm looking forward to what you have in store for us next week since it's Friday the 13th. I can't wait. Take care of yourself, Addie!!

Even though its not part of the cornetto trilogy you should do the movie Paul, its got the same guys and is amazing.

Hear, hear. I bet that The Exorcist (1973) would also have that effect on Addie as well.

Sure, we horror fans get a kick out of seeing Addie shriek in response to jump-scares and yelling the classic expletive which pays homage to all family women in the trucking business. Yes, to see her put her hands up in front of her face (karate style) is priceless yet worth the price of admission. But as an avid horror fan since I was a little kid, I still have compassion for non-horror fans. “Shaun of the Dead” is a good compromise, while keeping in spirit of spooky season. Would you put “Hereditary” (2018) on your scary list? JUST KIDDING! I think that movie would leave you sleeping with the lights on for the whole month of October. Stay your course. It’s good to see you enjoy a movie—THIS time. Muah-ha ha haa! 👻🎃🎈

I didn't realize until now that getting Edgar Wright humor was a skill.

This is actually the first movie in the cornetto trilogy, Hot Fuzz was the sequal, but I don't think it matters with this trilogy. Looking forward to watching this later gator!

I second Zombieland (2009) and its sequel Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). #ZombielandForAddieCounts

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is a really fun movie. I'm glad that you got the chance to watch it. Definitely looking forward to watching this later this evening. A couple of other fun horror type movies that I very highly recommend is the 1984 "Night of the Comet" and the 2009 "Zombieland". Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad you enjoyed this Strawberry Cornetto (Shaun of the Dead (2004)), although you preferred the Classico (Hot Fuzz (2007)). I plan on watching this movie soon, probably once you watch the Mint flavored The World's End (2013), so I can have a Three Flavors Cornetto by then.
