2025-12-11 00:26:14 +0000 UTCI mean: by all accounts Hawks is a double agent, so it makes sense that hed be “gathering information” for the league to stay in their good side. As long as he doesn’t leak anything actually sensitive like the fact that he is a double agent, it should be… fine? (Though i cant say im not concerned about Jeanist. Way I see it, Hawks either targeted him since he was already so injured it was like putting him out if his misery, or they formed a plan to trick the league into thinking Hawks killed him) Maybe I’m misremembering; but i think there was random side villain that went mad and started talking about the “Liberation” after the Stain incident: and the book Hawks used to send the message is called “The Liberation War”, so i think this is similar to Overhaul and the Yakuza where it was a villainous group that went underground and is now in a position to reappear.
