2025-10-28 12:55:59 +0000 UTCI honestly don't think I've ever heard someone push "social darwinism isn't evil" as a take, so...congrats on your boldness, I guess?

2025-10-26 04:40:16 +0000 UTCThere's a fun fact that Selim being Pride reveal that's not actually related to the story. It's one of my favorite pieces of trivia; but as the manga was coming out and people were theorising about who/what Pride could be; someone made a post (that is still up actually) that was a the theory about how Selim could be Pride, entirely stemming from the fact that in the original manga; Pride uses Japanese honorifics that are similar to the ones that would be used by a young boy. Throw in a few other strange coincidences regarding when Pride does/doesn't appear, a lines that each of them said, and extrapolating out why it would benefit Father if Pride was Selim; and they pretty much nailed it an *entire year* before the reveal actually happened. You actually got close to noticing something that a lot of people miss: the scene in the car where Kimblee is talking to Winry about her parents, yes; he's completely manipulative in all sorts of ways; but he wasn't lying. Everything he said, even about truly respecting her parents for continuing to help anyone they could, was the truth. It's actually right in line with what he told Hawkeye and Mustang in Ishaval; the thing that he finds annoying is people that don't keep to their duty, so Winry's parents going so far as to die on the battlefield simply because they insisted on helping as many people as possible? That to him is worthy of respect, even if he isn't necessarily on their side.

2025-10-26 02:42:48 +0000 UTCKimblee is an opportunist. A sociopath, calculating and obsessed with explosions, just like Deidara was lol. But he's not an enemy you can't reason with. He's a morally ambiguous character, like Scar (though a bit darker than Scar). It's funny because in One Piece, you follow the Fishmen arc, and the fishmen share some similarities with the Ishvalans. Scar's motivations aren't that different from Hody's (even if Hody is much more of a caricature).

2025-10-25 23:09:06 +0000 UTCSo here is something interesting that was cut out of the anime that was in the manga the Kimbley did respect the rockbells winery parents for sticking to ideals that was true but he left out that he only knew about them because he was assigned to kill them he only didnt because scar did the job before he got there
