Sure, but she was raised in a world where that could be expected, thats her duty. Not saying its right, but being unable to control your urges isnt a sign of a disciplined individual. Also, she could've waited to sleep with her husband again then tell him she's pregnant lol That way, all this madness could've been avoided lol

2025-10-25 11:11:55 +0000 UTCAs for Judith, we really disagree. Because the series shows the excesses of the Vikings, but it also shows the excesses or hypocrisy of the Christians. How can you expect a young woman who was forced by an authoritarian father to marry a man she never loved to remain faithful for the rest of her life OR her husband's life? As soon as she meets a man with whom there's a spark, she'll sleep with him at the first opportunity. That's my opinion xD And that's certainly what often happened in that era. The Vikings at least have the honesty to live their sexuality fully. They don't make the promise to live in sexual frustration, a promise that ultimately no one keeps except those who accept monogamy because they were lucky enough to find the right person. Floki and Helga make a beautiful couple. Certainly healthier than Aethelwulf and Judith's. Yet Floki and Helga are libertines. Which couple was the healthiest? Ragnar-Lagertha or Ragnar-Aslaug? With Lagertha, love prevailed despite their libertinism. Whereas he was faithful to Aslaug but without love. How does it all end?

2025-10-24 16:15:12 +0000 UTCThe scene where Floki tries to convince Ragnar that Odin himself came to sleep with his wife is hilarious! xD You can see that Floki is desperate and trying everything to bring Ragnar back to the side of the Norse gods, while Ragnar himself is feeling increasingly Christian. I can't help but feel some sympathy for Floki's beliefs. Granted, he goes to extremes. But he deserves credit for defending his convictions. And once again, we know how his religion ended lol
