Shanks also gave his captain’s straw hat to Luffy, and reminisced about his captain when he saw Ace fought against Akainu. It’s like Shanks cared more about Ace than Garp and Roger’s right hand man, then why did Roger not give Ace to Shanks for him to raise? Shanks a real one.

I feel like the only person who cared was Shanks, he even came to the war to save Ace and Whitebeard’s lives but was like an hour late because he had to stop Kaido first.
