2025-10-12 09:16:19 +0000 UTCStandard attempt to try and remind you about the OVA's since very soon there's not going to be an opening in the plot to watch them since the story is all out pretty damn soon lol Yeah, you pretty much called it; "the North" in FMA:B is part Russia, part Night Watch from Game of Thrones. (And considering the FMA manga actually did come out a few years after the Game of Thrones books did; it's actually not impossible the mangaka was inspired by the Northern Wall from that series, but I don't think it's ever been confirmed) Kimblee was dying because just having a philosophers stone doesn't inherently give you regenerative properties. The only way it does is if you go the Ling/Greed route and imbue it into your body. Otherwise all it does is amplify the alchemy you can already do. And considering a psychopath like Kimblee probably never learned medical alchemy, he can't use the stone to heal himself from being skewered into a wall. (The fact that he laughs about just comes from him being a psychopath that sees death more as an annoyance that trying to stop him killing Scar first.)
