2025-10-08 07:32:11 +0000 UTCOkay, since there's only 2 weeks before you're going to get to this point, I might as well start talking about it now; You are going to need someone probably on your discord or one of your editors to send you a slightly edited version of episode 536 for you to watch so that massive mistake the anime made in that episode doesn't ruin the whole arc for you. Fishman island is already one of the more... controversial(?) arcs in the series, the last thing that's needed is for the anime to invalidate the entire message.

Oda's work shouldn't be lumped into the same category as Bleach, Naruto, HxH, Demon Slayer, or even Dragon Ball. Please! Here, we're dealing with a hero fantasy open-world with a piracy package and an incredible level of consistency built over almost 30 years. This is something else. This universe is so huge it's almost TOO huge. To the point where Oda can outsource certain plots and sometimes get to the point a little too quickly. He's created a monster with unlimited potential. Any arc has a character or storyline worth exploring in a side book.

It's so good, that every One Piece fan can literally draw a mental map of the One Piece universe and tell you exactly what happened at each location. No other anime even remotely compares
