AVENGERS: ENDGAME - Full Length Reaction!

The moment is finally here... and I WAS. NOT. READY. FOR. THIS! My eyes are legitimately still puffy today from all of the crying from watching this movie. In the intro, I was curious if maybe Infinity War was more emotional than Endgame since Infinity War was the movie that had half of the universe disappear... HAHAHA I WAS WRONG I WAS SO WRONG. This was an epic (and heartbreaking) end for some of my favorite characters. Enjoy this full length reaction to Avengers: Endgame! :)

AVENGERS: ENDGAME - Full Length Reaction!

Comments

I just finished binging Phase 1-3 of the MCU with you, as my first content on your Patreon, and I have to say that yours has been the most enjoyable run through the MCU I've had yet. Thank you. As I look ahead, I see that you broke with release order and I'm hoping there will be an explanation why in one of your videos, but I'm going to just take it on faith that this will be the best way to continue with you on your journey through the MCU.

Thomas Yanez

One more movie in Phase 3 xD Spiderman Far From home.

LightsCameraJake

Thank you for watching this, Addie "I am not Okay" Counts :).

Eric H

Remember.... Loki Escaped!

Aaron Taft

We all knew that when you started liking Tony as much as you did, that you weren’t going to enjoy the ending of ‘Endgame’. It’s been a hell of a journey through the MCU, but I’m glad you enjoyed it so much.

Danny Miller

You made it! Bringing back fan favorites in a way that was still consistent with the plot, brilliant. Closure of so many stories, perfect! Epic action & selfless sacrifice done perfectly. and so much more! And, I think we can all agree, this is proof that "comic book movies" are some of the best movies made. Addie, imagine sitting in a theater watching this. the silent moments, the cheering moments. And every single person riveted to the screen, with a tear in their eyes. You reacted pretty much exactly the way we all did, thank you for sharing your "endgame experience" with us.

Tom R

And, as with the movies, release order is the way to go, for series and movies both.

Richard Maurer

Agree with pretty much everything you said except that this is the end of phase 3. Like a lot of people you seem to have forgot about Spider-man Far From Home.

BHillzebub

At the start of the video you said you had 1 pack of tissue, and I went "ooo, first mistake" xD Also, don't skip the series, they introduce characters and plot lines for Phase 4. They are part of Phase 4.

FatLittleButterfly

Seeing your reaction had me crying all over again, this movie has all the feels. If you want to search for it, there's a deleted scene that I wish they would've kept, where everyone on the battlefield kneels after Tony dies. It was a great moment honoring Tony's sacrifice, but I can see how it might've been too similar to the funeral scene. A common misconception/confusion is why can Thanos wield Stormbreaker when he shouldn't be worthy. Stormbreaker can still be summoned and held by anyone because it doesn't have the worthiness enchantment that Mjolnir has. The enchantment spell reads "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Which is why Cap is able to wield lightning just like Thor! All of the small cameos and callbacks was so amazing to see in the theater, it felt like every few minutes had a surprise character and this movie felt like a love letter to the fans. I'm so excited to see your Far From Home and Phase 4 reactions, lots of fun new stories and characters are coming!!

Jana Hall

Ah, closure. But when Marvel closes a door they open several others. And you still have one more to finish off phase 3. You're sooo special!

Jim Schmitz

Just to clear stuff up, so yeah changing the past doesn't change the future as Bruce explained. So killing past Nebula doesn't kill present Nebula. And lots of stuff that normally would mess stuff up wouldn't. The Scepter doesn't make people evil, it is essentially mind control. So no evil Cap, he just knocked him out. Then Steve glanced at America's ass 🤣 And if you noticed Nebulas hand is robotic, so no she wouldn't feel it as there's no nerves in a metal hand. That's why she easily could grab it. I really liked that moment with Rhodey and Nebula, relating how their bodies have been messed up, leaving them forever different. Thors moment with Mijolnir was very touching as well. Despite all his depression, pain and loss.... it doesn't make him unworthy. Even heroes struggle too but it doesn't make them less than. Yeah this is a benchmark ending. Tony's sacrifice, proved Steve wrong when he said in the first Avengers that he isn't the guy to make the sacrifice play and be selfless. Steve proved Tony wrong when he said in the first Avengers that everything special about him came out of a bottle. No serum can make you worthy of the power of a God. Thats something you innately have in you. Steve is probably my favorite Avenger, and him finally getting the ending he absolutely earned was so touching. One small moment that goes unnoticed is when Thanos broke his shield and gave his evil speech. Steve is the first one back on his feet. That singular moment showed us who Steve Rogers is. He tightened his shield, and was completely ready to face down an entire army on his own. The lighting in the scene reflected this perfectly. The clouds were dark, but Steve was shining through it, alone but with an unbreakable will. So damn good! Sam being chosen for the mantle was so amazing too. Steve makes sure his legacy carries on. This is the end of Phase 3, save for one more movie. Spider-Man Far From Home is next and then Phase 4 starts with Wandavision, a super good show. Phase 4 goes wild, and yes things will never be the same again Addie. 😭 I can't wait for your Phase 4 reactions!

Lorenzo Baxter

Your reaction was beautiful thanks for sharing

Damien Brown

I cannot wait for you to get to Wandavision :)

The Dingo

Now, you know. And now, I can talk a bit. First off, from the bottom of my heart, I say thank you. Thank you for every step of the journey, for being open enough to share your heart, your laughter and your tears. I also thank you for being the first reactor I know of to watch the end credits. I humbly salute you. I can also share my big overwhelming cry thought. Watching the camera pan back from the lake, from Pepper and Morgan and Happy to Cap, Thor and Hulk and back and back… one thought comes to mind, a line from the very first movie: “Tony Stark built this in a cave! With a box of scraps!” He didn’t just build a suit. He built a universe. And I always cry thinking about it. That, Cap seeing Peggy again through the glass and Natasha and Clint on Voromir are the big cries for me, consistently. Anyone who says these movies and stories are just… well, they’re wrong. They are special, they carry weight, they are as dear as the stories of a galaxy far far away, as a brave fellowship of nine seeking to destroy a ring, think of whatever story is precious, I think this is an equal. Every bit of it. And to quote Gandalf, do not fear to weep, for tears are not an evil. They never are. And when they are dry and you are ready, we have more stories to tell, on screens large and small. And I look forward to it. Again, I thank you.

Matthew Periolat

With all the well deserved praise all the heroes in this movie get, one is consistently overlooked - the rat that released Scott Lang. Without that rat none of this would have been possible. And nobody in the MCU knows he/she even exists - except for Dr. Strange, who would have seen the rat when he was seeing possible futures. Strange should have found a nice home for the rat or at least made a statue in its honor : )

Richard Maurer

So much fun! Im excited for u to get to Shang-Chi now!!!

Anthony Jackson

Addie said she thought Infinity War was going to be more emotional than Endgame! 😂🤣😂🤣 Then she held up the smallest pack of tissues.😂🤣😂🤣 In all seriousness, I'm truly glad you enjoyed this journey, and I'm really happy we kept you away from spoilers. Every time I watch someone start the MCU journey, I'm always worried that some idiot will spoil some of the endings.

The Real NC Picker

Your comments on phase 4 are very interesting and on point, Tony. I have never looked at it that way, but I will certainly do so from here on out.

Count Duckula

LETS GO!!! So excited to watch 😁

John Smith

The group helping each other to work through the trauma of this entire saga is over here. We appreciate what you’ve put yourself through and we’re here for you.

Count Duckula

It feels like a long time ago that you Started from Phase 1 and up to Phase 3 with Civil War. I found Natasha's Death to be a gut punch because it was very unexpected and I have no words for Tony's death. They were the first two Avengers in Iron Man 2. I've enjoyed your MCU experiences and I look forward to your Spider-Man Far from Home reaction and beyond.

DazzMetalStorm

This is an amazing and heartbreaking movie to watch! Glad you were able to finally experience this one, especially after getting attached to all of the other MCU characters. Its crazy how much these movies can make us feel! If you still feeling the need for a little more RDJ (and in the holiday spirit too) check out Kiss Kiss Bang Bang! Has Val Kilmer in it and was directed by the guy who did Iron Man 3 believe. It's been a long while since I've watched it but I remember loving it!

JerichoFalls

Every time I see this movie I tell myself I'm not gonna cry, and every time...waterworks. There are several moments that stick out to me each time. You hit on one with Strange not telling Tony when he asks if this is the one scenario where they win, the look on Strange's face when he tells him he can't tell or it might not happen. Yeah...Strange knew Tony had to die, and knew if he had even hinted at it before, Tony may have hesitated. It was only when Tony knew what he had to do that Strange let him know. There are only two beings that Thanos was scared of, like truly scared of. Wanda and Carol. Wanda had him on the ropes when he cheated and ordered the bombardment and the look on his face when he headbutted Carol and she didn't even flinch. Not to mention his ship's guns redirecting fire to track Carol when she entered the atmosphere. Bucky knew Cap wasn't coming back. From their "don't do anything stupid" routine to Bucky saying he's going to miss him. I'm excited for you to get into Phase 4. I know a lot of people think it's the weakest phase so far, but to me it feels more like the world trying to figure out what to do now, post-Thanos, post-Snap, with the Avengers basically gone. And as good as the movies continue to be, I'm more hoping you dive into the Disney+ series sooner rather than later. I know a lot of reactors skip them, but there are some great shows that, in MCU tradition, continue on and movie the story forward. But I also understand, as a content creator, variety makes the subscriptions...

Tony Sanson

This movie wrecked me , not a dry eye in the theatre. Everytime I watch this I get wrecked emotionally...every time!

Jayson Phillips

The movie world had never seen anything like the MCU, since the start of the entire medium there's never been a series of films telling a single cohesive story in such a complex and exciting way, and the Infinity Saga I don't think will be matched in spectacle anytime soon. We all wish we could go back and see Endgame for the first time, congratulations!

JD Nevesytrof

Nice call back to Iron Man at the very end with Tony hammering making his first suit.

Richard

With Cap getting to have a life with Peggy, it makes her comment in the Winter Soldier Smithsonian documentary footage about how Steve introduced her to her husband more poignant. And look closely at the pallbearer I believe in the back left during Peggy’s funeral in Civil War. 🙂

Ian Forbes

Greatest theater experience I've had. Will never forget it. Hopefully you continue on with the "netflix" Marvel stuff before you go onto Phase 4 because reasons, LOL.

Steve SG-1

I typically prefer the YouTube edits just for the time involved. But I watched the full length version of Infinity War, and I may have to do this one too!

Bryan Fritchie

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 Here we go!!! Not going to lie, I've had a box of tissues on on standby for whenever you posted this one. LOL! Right off the bat, the scene with Tony and Nebula in the beginning was something that I didn't know that I needed until I first saw it in the theater. Wish that we had gotten more scenes with those two. Fun Fact #1: The "I love you 3,000" that little Morgan, and then later Tony, says is something that Robert Downey Jr's kids would always say to him. Glad that was added it this. Fun Fact #2: In case that you didn't recognize him, the kid that's standing behind Wanda, Sam, and Bucky at Tony's funeral is Harley Keener, the kid from "Iron Man 3". Fun Fact #3: There's a deleted scene that confirms that 2014 Gamora survived Tony's snap. She's out there in the galaxy somewhere. I honestly don't know whose death I cry the hardest for everytime I watch this movie, it's about even for Natasha and Tony. There's so many great callback moments in this movie it's hard to mention every one. LOL! After passing the mantle of Captain America onto Sam, we got to see that Steve and Peggy finally got that dance and got their happy ending. Like with "Infinity War", I highly recommend 2 videos for YouTube. Up next, the last movie of Phase 3: "Spider-Man: Far From Home". Then on to Phase 4. Have a great day & weekend! 😊

Randee Carreno

So excited to watch this.

Happy Friday Addie and thank you for today. I prepared for this and have Assembled some snacks for this. ✔

Happy Friday, Addie. Avengers: Endgame is the real cullmination of the everything in the MCU. I even enjoyed seeing it in IMAX 1.90:1 with my girlfriend and two friends of ours. Next up, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and you will have just completed the ENTIRE Infinity Saga.

Alex Tan

Finally This Epic!!!
