According to James Gunn, Groot did die, Baby Groot would be considered original Groot's son.

I read Guardians Of The Galaxy back around that Annihilation era when the team that inspired these movies was formed, I LOVED Cosmo!

Had so much fun watching this with u! cant wait for more :)

The dog is a character in the Marvel Universe, and his name is “Cosmo”. He’s a Russian space dog that went into space and was mutated with cosmic rays, then he became telepathic. He is also a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the security chief at Knowhere. The GotG movies are definitely known for their great soundtracks.

Great watch along, had a blast watching with you.

Oof it is tough to recommend Howard the Duck lol. I legit loved that movie as a kid but holy hell the last time I watched it it was a rough watch.

Robjgood

Definitely one of the best MCU movies.

Excellent reaction as always, Addie. Fun fact: My dad & I saw an advanced 3D screening of this movie, back in July 2014, one month before it opened. We won advanced tickets to the movie, after spinning a prize wheel that a radio station hosted outside a RaceTrac.

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 You're moving right along, and are almost finished with phase 2 already! 2 more movies left to go, and then on to Phase 3. This is my favorite of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies. I think it has to do with see them all coming together as a team, and as Gamora puts at the end as a "family". The beginning part of the movie is always sad to watch. The music in this movie is top notch. Here you get to meet the main villian of the MCU, Thanos. He was the purple guy you saw in the mid-credit scene of the first Avengers movie. We'll learn more about Peter Quill's(Star-Lord's) father in the next Guardians movie. And the talking duck from the end-credit scene is Howard the Duck. He's a Marvel comic character created in 1973. And there is a 1983 movie called "Howard the Duck" that I do recommend. Next up: "Avengers: Age of Ultron". 😊
