Genocide is not limited to when it is committed against minority groups, anytime you exterminate a large chunk of a population is a genocide. Also, I don't agree with the notion that genocide, especially by biological weapons, which are forbidden by the Geneva Convention, is justifiable because "they've been doing all sorts of messed up shit". Not committing genocide against a group of people is less about who they are, and more about who we are.
