Good question and it's hard to answer without knowing much about her.

Agatha, probably, responding to your diligent record-keeping: "D'AWWW!"

AGATHA STATS This is Agatha's 58th appearance (excluding any bonus strips or anything else), and 26th strip in which she has any dialogue. With 19 words, this is her joint-6th wordiest strip, tied with Groundswell from Glower Vacuum (7:1). It's a three way tie if you count "3 Nephi 18:19" as four words, I counted it as three. Her wordiest strip is Broker from 3:3 with 43 words. Agatha has an F-bomb count of 0.

Agreed. To me, the mitigating circumstance has never been that they are bi (or at least, that's the assumption, though only Dorothy has self-identified that way), but rather that hadn't even realized their attraction to women yet. If they were both openly or at least self-knowingly attracted to women leading up to this, they would have been crossing some major lines for most peoples' ideas of monogamy. Instead, they both had defensible reasons to believe that they really were just unusually close "gal pals". Joyce because she was raised fundamentalist and was more deeply closeted than most, Dorothy because being attracted to women may indeed be a rare, individual-specific exception for her.

im just going to vent my problems with the mainsite here so the "cheating bisexual trope" frames all bisexual as unable to to have a relationship because they are attracted to both genders and will inevitably cheat on others dorothy had several relationships that have nothing to do with her bisexuality. Danny Ruth and Jennifer all have relationships that do not frame there bisexuality was a issue. This would be the cheating bisexual trope if dorothy and joyce were the only bisexuals in the comic or if it framed there sexuality as the reason they cheated. Its similar to bury your gays bury your gays punishes gay characters for being gay it was created in the hayes code era. A show or movie is only bury your gays if it is framed as a punishment for being gay recent examples include the killing eve show while something like haunting of hill house is not the characters die but after living a long happy like the death is not a moral punishment. Im getting tired of younger fans just saying "trope bad " without understanding why its bad. Especially when in results in restricting queer creators.
