I deleted my previous posts because they were bad but i can summarize my thoughts on Raidah pretty quickly. As someone who hasn't really played the ace attorney games in my head she's how i imagine Miles Edgeworth is with what i've gleaned from pop culture osmosis. Lawfyl Neutral in a cruel way throwing judgement without a shred of empathy.
Now i'm thinking about Dorothy pivoting to law and properly becoming her Phoenix Wright in this situation.

yeah this is why i like it when raidah pops up. she’s an interesting foil to most of the main cast who mostly either don’t care for social status, or do care but are humorously bad at obtaining it (jennifer). she is steadfastly committed to her moral values (at least some of which are good!), while being deeply cynical/ uncharitable (unlike joyce), and is a clout-chaser/institutionalist* (unlike recent dorothy). i have been hoping for a long time that raidah’s quest for power doesn’t stem solely from like, GREED, but some calculation she's made... for example, maybe she thinks that being a ruthless social climbing lawyer is the best way to work toward justice for her community. idk! we'll see! either way i am looking forward to seeing more of her in the upcoming storyline
* i know that raidah has stated her contempt for anyone trying to be president, but i think she's still an institutionalist, just that war crimes are a hard boundary
