A fully realized adult avatar Aang needed the avatar state to deal with a bloodbender of lesser skill than Amon. I don't understand how Korra, who is much less capable than that version of Aang, only had 3 elements and no avatar state at the time, is somehow "caught lacking" against a more capable bloodbender than the one Aang faced, like what? I think the one lacking logic here is YOU bruh.

2025-01-30 16:14:05 +0000 UTCBut you are basically proving my point aang had the burden and the chance to gain actual battle experience very early on while korra was protected and almost imprisoned by her family and the white lotus until she was almost an adult. Yes she was trained but in an safe area, while aang had real fights for a whole year before he faced the fire lord. Also aang had the past avatars like roku helping him while korra learned that very late and still cant really use it because she is a spiritual no hand.

2025-01-28 14:18:55 +0000 UTCAang had to do what he did as an 11 year old 100 years behind his time, woke up and realized all his friends and family were dead, coming from knowing 1 element, forced to master all 4 and take on the strongest army in the word all the while the situation is getting worse by the day all before the summer, korra had everything spoon-fed to her and over and over gets caught lacking by her arrogance and lack of logic more than anything else

Aang had the firelord and he also didn’t beat him alone, he had his friends, two nations rebelling, help from within the fire nation and many more. Korra had first an unstoppable blood bender who could take away someones bending. But he was an symbol she couldn’t just beat him in fight even if she had the strength she had to beat an idea. And now her enemy is the water nation and the spirit of evil itself. And no nation is helping her at all, just her friends.
