I know everyone wanted rhaenyra to take action but that is also why we like her more, because she is not like her enemies and doesn’t act dishonorable, like killing otto as a messenger. Also Aemond didn’t want to kill him but he also didn’t want to just scare him, he meant it when he said he wanted an eye of him. And the dragon u were asking about in the pit is vermithor, he was the dragon of daemons father and has no rider since his death. He is similiar in size and age to aemonds dragon.
