High resolution distribution (again)
Added 2024-12-15 15:04:50 +0000 UTCI’ve tried out the new method of sending out the high resolution link and uploading the files as the month goes on. Unfortunately, I’ve received a lot of negative feedback on this new method, and I’ve also run into a lot of issues with the link bugging out and having to resend a new link to a lot of supporters.
I apologize for the back and forth on this, but I will have to go back to the old way of sending out the link on the first week of the new month. As it was before, the link will have all of the previous months art and you will have a month to download it.
The new December link will be sent out via DM in the first week of January.

I'm generally pretty patient, so waiting for me is far preferable to rushing to make sure I have everything before the link goes down. I do think the instant method could have worked if there was a grace period for the link at the turn of the month.

2024-12-18 09:16:24 +0000 UTCThe artist Deyui does something similar to what you were trying with his Patreon rewards, but he has some kind of automated setup he completed a few months ago that streamlines it. Might be worth asking him if he can share it, since it looks like it's fixed all the issues he was having before.

Getting the high-res version of your art immediately is a very nice luxury, but also the speed that the link is taken down i felt was very fast. i recall last month checking the link on the 30th or so to make sure i hadn't missed anything and finding that the entire link was already gone. perhaps something could be ddone to have it available like it was through th emonth but also an archive link like the old way?
