I am against watching the sequel but will admit it has some good episodes. However the gap in quality between atla and its sequel is far wider than that of naruto and boruto. Imo the sequel doesn't come close nor does anything better than atla but I understand someone wanting to watch it.

2024-08-27 15:10:21 +0000 UTCThe sequel isn’t worth watching, it’s actually worth not watching. But I’d recommend watching only 1 two parter episodes from it after finishing this show and that’s it. The episodes are called, “Beginnings - Part 1” and “Beginnings - Part 2”.

If it goes on a poll it may not win because it's not as popular and beloved as this show (similar to naruto vs boruto) but it has the two best episodes imo of the whole show. I'd strongly recommend watching the sequel before you forget most of this story.
