2024-05-28 05:12:10 +0000 UTCReason Aang doesn't use water bending all that much before this even though he's learned it is that at this moment in time; he's not true Avatar yet. Yes, once he masters all the elements he'll be able to use any of them without thinking, but right now even though he *can* water bend (and technically fire bend) he still going to default to airbending because that's the one he's had 12 years of training and experience in, whereas he's still just starting to learn the others and doesn't have the instincts developed to use them mid combat quite yet. Can't wait until next week though; the finale of Season 1 blows the rest of this season out of the water (heh)
