but yeah blu ray version is really clean due to lack of time there was a lot of scenes almost entirely cut out which lead to many continuity errors in the episode and inbetwening errors That are fixed and entirely new sequences added to the episode to the point were the second half is almost entirely a new experience

There's a lot of cool ideas with an insanely ambitious storyboard with an insane staff list. there's a lot to like about this episode it just has a unfortunate amount of issues for a lot of reasons

2024-03-31 04:04:23 +0000 UTCLMAO, Naruto vs. Pain was 100% artistic intent and one of the best displays of pure Sakuga of all time and far from bad animation. You can dislike the Atushi Wakabyashi vision for the episode, but calling it bad animation is objectively wrong. While this BC episode has a similar level of ambition, it couldn't execute it due to many production issues. Black Clover's schedule was terrible at this time and wasn't given any priority by studio Perriot to the point where it didn't even have a production assistant. And the director would openly complain about the studio prioritizing Boruto over black clover. This episode was essentially Yoshiharas fuck you to the industry and Perriot showing that he can bring in his own talent and have a high priory team entirely composed of his friends being able to bring in some of the most talented free lancer in the industry on that episode which again couldn't be executed to the fullest extent because of the production hell that black clover was in.
