2024-01-30 00:41:46 +0000 UTCIN MY OPINION, I'd really like if after Skypiea you would skip straight to the 2nd half of episode 226, as it goes back to canon towards the end, and it introduces a MAJOR and VERY COOL character. 227 is still one of my fav eps too, like 151.

2024-01-27 20:49:03 +0000 UTCWell; they aren't boring at least; they're quite a bit higher quality then the last 2 filler arcs you've watched for OP. I see no reason why you shouldn't. But honestly at the end of the day it all comes down to your schedule; remember; weather you watch it or not; you've still got a least 3 whole years worth of OP to go at your current watch rate lol. Actually, if anything a couple of months worth of episodes where you don't have to think deeply or take seriously might give you time to sort things out before we dive into the serious plot again.

There's 2 and a half arcs in that stretch; one is filler, the other is what has accurately been described as "canon filler", in that it is, for all intents and purposes, a filler arc that Oda actually wrote into the manga to give himself time as he planned ahead. And then the anime went and stretched that arc out even more XD As for the movies; there are 15 movies in all, but it's important to note that 4 of the latest ones are more or less canon since they were written and supervised by Oda, and at least one is directly referenced in the series. The only problem is... those ones are set *far* in the future from where you are now, so it's going to take a while to get there.
