He dotes on his sister, cares for her, and barely gets to spend time with her cuz he is a magic knight. So he wanted to spend some quality time with her, that's what he called a date. Not necessarily sexual I would say. He is also the kind of sister complex guy that can't see any man getting along with his sister cuz that's HIS precious sister. Yes this guy is weirrrd as hell. But at least we can assume for now that he doesn't have crazier intentions than this.
