We already seen tanjiro Dad and he doesn't even look like the mysterious guy. Only earrings and scar on forehead which doesn't even look the same. Don't worry, like 80% of fans thought he was his dad but at the point that you are at you should know he isn't his dad and this is not a spoiler. Who is this mysterious guy, i don't know but what we know is that if the ranks haven't changed for over a 100 years he is well over a 100 years old.

I just think he saw a memory from his ancestor, remember, they said that the Upper ranks didn´t change for over 100 years. So how could it be Tanjiro´s dad? And that guy, looking very similar to Upper One, must have given the family (Tanjiro´s ancestors) the earings, maybe bcs he was about to go turn himself to a demon or whatever who knows. Also that ancestor that was holding that child said he is just a humble charcoal-seller and we know that Tanjiro´s family was continuing charcoal-selling. Nontheless, AMAZING REACTION!

Second thing that Muzan wants uppers to find is "Blue Spider Lily". You mistook this for Tamayo lady that is out of Muzan's control. He didn't mention her here. 2. After jumping in hot spring, Tanjiro asked the other guy if he was related to Wind Hashira, cuz they share same surname. Which is what later Love Hashira commented on too. She said wind hashira told her he didn't have any siblings. I wanted to mention that last ep of Entertainment District was even better than action episode before that cuz of emotions that hit. I bawled out my eyes last week with that sibling backstory and quarrel.
