S2 ep 2-7 is basically just the movie itself cut up into episodes with small edits.

They only mean episode 1 of season 2 first cause it takes place just before the movie. Than jump to episode 8 after the movie

That would be my choice, yes. The only reason for the second option is to watch the show how they aired. Movie came out before season 2 aired, but episode 1 season 2 takes place before the movie, as far as the story goes. So chronologically in the story, option 1 makes the most sense

The real poll should be if s2 ep 1 before or after the movie lol, cuz both are perfectly fine. Only depends on preferences

I think it doesn't make much of a difference, s2 ep 1 can be watched after or before the movie. Preferably after because the movie came out first

The first half of season two, after the first episode at least, is the same plot as the movie, but it's told slightly different in terms of pacing. I personally prefer the movie version, but either way I would watch both even if you don't react to the 2nd version.

As Christian said, I think you worded choice 2 wrong. Should be movie, then ep 1 of season 2, then jump to ep 8. This is the order that we watched them as they released :)

Idk who told you to watch Season 2 first. The movie is a direct continuation of Season 1.

I think you have it a bit wrong. The two options are the first, exactly how you described it. The second option is watch the movie, then ep1 of s2, then start ep8 to the ending of s2. It makes no sense to watch the movie after s2. The reason being ep 2 - 7 are the same as the movie.
