FIRST : your theory about watching a show in dub or sub is true... you like more the one you started with, doesnΒ΄t matter which one it was... SECOND : first rule does not apply tho to the 207 episode and the way how he said YOU INFERIOR CREATURE .. in japaneese its 100 times better, you will see :D love you

He is the smartest person far and wide. So if you can't understand why he acts the way he does, then you just can't keep up. Shikamaru judges very rationally and according to facts, while Naruto acts very emotionally and listens to his gut feeling far too often, even though he is of course not stupid. Exactly, that's what makes the two of them so perfect, they balance each other out perfectly. There could be no one better at Naruto's side than Shikamaru.

It's unsatisfying and has long since reached the point where it's just a matter of milking the cow for as long as possible. The best anime are always the ones that often seem too short but are actually perfect for that very reason. Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen or the example where it is most obvious: Death Note. But One Piece is a good filler when there's absolutely nothing to watch.

Also I know you're starting sub soon and you say you're going to rewatch certain episodes to get used to the voices but I want to let you know the next batch of dubbed episodes are coming in June and I know you will have already seen it in sub but please consider posting rewatches for those episodes in dub just like how you're going to do with sub. It doesn't have to be all episodes but key ones especially 218.
