Saitama is kind of a derisive combination of Goku and Superman. To compare Saitama to any other 'serious' fictional character is pointless because yeah he can take anybody down with one punch but it's because he's a satirical character. It's like Bugs Bunny getting a face off with Rocky Balboa or Thanos. Of course Bugs is gonna win ! He's a freaking cartoon character created to troll his opponents xD I'm pretty sure Saitama has no real secret behind his strength. He just trained as he said ! Because the mangaka wanted to troll the audience by creating a manga hero who has grown 'god level strong' for no real reason.
