And Prez is definitely siding with his kids. Randy is already in so much shit from what he did say, so if Prez just blabbed all the rest of it, it could make it even worse for him. And damn, Carcetti made all these promises and then gets hit with a "oh btw we looked at the school budged, it's in $54 million of debt." And Royce put him in the chair with a smile, pretending it was all good lol.

Boy was just minding his business, selling candy when Kevin brought him into the Lex shit for no reason. Again, he was dipping outta class just to sell his damn candy, and the two other boys pulled him into a rape beef. Even with all that, it falls to anybody but Herc and he'd still be aight. His only motives have been making money and self-preservation and he still got fucked over. I always thought Marlo's plans with the bodies only really made sense in the short term, it's a bad long term strategy. Honestly, he kills too many people in general honestly, just ruling entirely by fear, lol. In a city like Bmore it's not like they're solving most drug murders anyway. This just brings attention to it once someone does crack the code, lol.

Like Burrell said, "it's not cause enough" (although it probably should be). On the other hand, Daniels recommended sensitivity training which wouldn't be enough for the ministers.

2023-05-14 00:40:03 +0000 UTCi think y'all misinterpreted that carcetti burrell scene a lil bit. carcetti cannot fire herc for what he did with the church guy without significant blowback from the ministers/black constituents. what he did there was more than enough to get him fired. i'm not sure the political significance of the ministers but i think they contribute financially and have a lot of sway with black voters. so burrell came with the rule book so carcetti can find an alternative way to fire herc that has nothing to do with the stop he did on that black man. thus, saving his ass with the black voter/ministers.
