I don't even think that Carmela knows about that. but if I were her and I did — I definitely would not want to hear anything about that $40K in my life. Especially considering it's not even like Carmela is saying he can't cheat. Just don't be leaving traces of the woman in my own bed.

2023-04-20 00:54:47 +0000 UTCOn how Tony keeps landing women like he does: A message of the show (expressed so far, most clearly, with Gloria) is that people keep seeking out and entering relationships with the same kinds of people - and not just romantically. Melfi has told Tony that he's doing that, even if not on purpose. Consider that these women are the same way. I imagine if we looked in at the other partners of Tony's girlfriends we'd see that he's not the only person like him they've been with.

She is basically saying, I know what your up to bitch, say something about that 40K, I dare you to say something. That's a penalty fee for the constant disrespect she puts up with from Tony. Just a reminder, Tony gave his Russian ho 75K after he dumped her and sent her on her way. That 40 thousand is a drop in the bucket compared to that. I personally loved the way Paulie was so loving and protective of his ma. He's a good boy.

2023-04-20 00:01:26 +0000 UTCI agree with Formal that this episode wasn't all that, a lot of spinning the wheels with Tony/Carmela stuff we've seen the whole show, but this is the Sopranos, so you know they're gonna come back with something crazy. Next few episodes are great, imo.
