I've always loved the duality of Chris's advice to Marlo on how to deal with Omar echoing Stringer's advice to Avon on how to deal with Omar way back in Season 1, was brilliant. The difference is Avon initially bucked on Stringer's advice whereas Marlo nodded his head in agreement to Chris advising against putting a bounty on Hoe-Mar Little. #TellemTANKseddit

Shooting a hardworking citizen was kind of the point. If they shot a bum, the chances of Omar getting snatched up are pretty slim. It's awful, and evil, but that's why it's more likely to work. Marlo and crew are cold as hell. But you right. Wrong place wrong time. Just like that guard, just trying to be a man with dignity in the same time zone as Marlo got him merked.

The thing about Royce lining his pockets might be a little off. Those card games are his way of funding his campaign, and it works because the people he's in bed with understand that to STAY in bed with him, they have to let him win. But no doubt the act of getting in bed with these people who want something back from the city of Baltimore, development deals and so on (think about how the harbour guys were in direct competition to these people wanting to build condos for rich people) is the amoral part. And maybe getting into bed with them was for his own benefit rather than the city's.
