The ONLY people who knew about the whereabouts of Wee Bey was Avon, Stringer, Wee Bey & D'Angelo. 🖕🏾 D'Angelo Barksdale because he deserved what he got. "D" told his Mother, Son's Mother & Avon to "leave me be". There's no way of Stringer being able to tell whether or not D'Angelo would get tired of being in Prison after year 5, 8 or 10 then decide to snitch all over again to get out of prison & put into witness protection. D'Angelo was constantly flip-flopping his allegiance & was a fake wannabe gangsta who got caught up being fake in a real game of LIFE was ALL. Avon knows this based on his conversation in Season 2 with Wee Bey right after they found out the D'Angelo was dead.... Avon said, "D was phucken weak". #TellemTANKseddit

The prelude to this was when Marlo met with his consigliere, Vincent who warned Marlo that Avon was coming home & "could seriously handle up". Marlo's response was, "I know".

It was Melvin Williams's pager & pay phone code that was used in Season 1 by the Creators of THE WIRE When Stringer met with Marlo & mentioned the "share of smart players" in Baltimore's History of Drug Dealers, the first person Stringer mentioned was "Melvin".
