Off IG & Thriving
Added 2024-02-16 16:15:49 +0000 UTCSo the ole ball & chain (Instagram) had to be cut loose this week because I simply have too addictive of behavior with it. Finley & I talk about this a lot, but unfortunately IG just feels very insidious to me. I go on with the intention of sharing & lose track of why I went on within like 20 seconds! I get wrapped up watching stories or scrolling & it’s terrible. I don’t even use it for reels! I just simply can’t be trusted with it! So I’m off IG for now & sharing pics here.
We had a lovely little Valentine’s Day together (our last before becoming parents)!!! We went bowling, Finley got his first hambone (THAT’S 4 STRIKES IN A ROW!!!), we had a DELECTABLE early dinner at 5 PM like oldies & watched Dune (2021) when we got home. I’ve finished lots of books this week (8 so far this year) & have been focusing on unpacking & organizing a ton of our belongings. Finley is also painting the bedroom & it looks iconic! Love you!

Also I looked into it and the fact that after a turkey it’s mainly referred to as a “bagger” like 4 strikes is a “4-bagger,” 5 is a “5-bagger,” etc. is kinda lame to me. I guess 4x is sometimes referred to as a hambone. My partner suggested 4 be called something cooler like thanksgiving dinner.
