June Dev Log

Hello all!

In this month's dev log, a quick overview of RE:P's update status, the VN progresses, and the wrapup posts for our convention adventures!

Red Embrace: Paradisus Update News

Due to our travel and convention work this past month, June's RE:P update will be a small one. We're currently aiming to release the update next week, so keep an eye out!

The new skill (Honed Sinews) + trait (Selfless) will be added, as we slowly work on filling out the lists!

Existing NPCs in Chinatown will have a little more added to their conversations, and some areas will see new objects added to the environment!

We've been working on controller input/WASD movement, since the click-to-move method can be a little aggravating in larger areas (such as the Chinatown hub). However, it likely won't be implemented until July, as we need to ensure it works smoothly.

Next month, we'll be aiming for a more substantial update. July will hopefully see a continuation of the main quest, as well as the introduction of new NPCs, many of whom were introduced on our blog earlier. 

Visual Novel News

Exciting times! We're moving full speed ahead on both projects, and it's looking like we'll have at least one Kickstarter this year...most likely in the fall!

Currently, we're working on the sprite/CG art for the games, as well as refining our visual novel engine in Unity to start producing the demos.

Life Update

We've been hoisting ourselves back into the work saddle after recovering from all the travel/convention stresses. There's a lot on our plate for the summer and fall!
