I wanted to do a cat in a slightly different position than I'd done before, so I decided it would be pretty cool to have the cat looking up!
I started off by sketching and tracing over it in Inkscape:
I then adjusted and cleaned up the details, and added a few stars:
Although the cat started as white I felt like black was more appropriate for a familiar!
After the previous month’s poll I decided to also expand the colour options beyond what I normally would – the ruby option looked like it would win but in the end the teal version won out!
And the final version was decided:
