Personally, I hate the name of the subclass. It will be very confusing for players. Given the fact the other bard colleges are named based on types of communication or performance, I think this subclass should be called something like "College of Folk Tales". It more closely matches the theme and abilities of the subclass, and you can keep some of the druid stuff some those are folk tale related. Or "College of Myths" as an alternate.
I agree that "Tale of Life" needs to be improved at least add +CHA to the HP restored. Also, I think it should be that a character can only benefit once a turn, so that the Moonbeam sweep with Bolstered Folktales can give +1d6 to people getting the +2d4 HP, but once per turn.

It is now. Compare it to Cloud of Daggers where the Cube teleports rather than moves.

Hi Chris, I think you missed that the extra healing spending your bardic inspiration is once per turn, so you can only do it once on a moonbeam move. At least by my reading :)

You said you, could cast moon beam twice in a round by casting without a spell slot as a BA and the again as your Action. I’ll agree you can cast it twice but wouldn’t the second casting’s concentration wipe out the first casting of the spell?

Hi Chris, is that how moonbeam works? You can have it pass through enemies when moving it and that force them to make saves? Perhaps it’s the BG3’s way of handling it, but I just hadn’t thought of it that way.

I will say, most dms i have played with rolled saves behind the screen, so we often wouldnt know how much enemies would save by, just whether they saved or not. That makes using it a bit riskier, but yeah, thats powerful as hell and the optimizer in me wants it.

Since Blessing of the Moonwells lets you use Moonbeam without spending a spell slot, you can also cast a leveled spell with your action while using the 2d4 healing to pick up a downed party member. There are very few abilities that let you do that, especially at range. Great support bard. Would definitely play this class in a campaign that spends time in the Feywilds or has strong fey themes. Tale of Mirth definitely needs to be toned down, it makes it too hard to save against some devastating spells. I would add CHA mod or prof mod to healing from Tale of Life.
