While I enjoy his videos for entertainment, I find some of them to be cringeworthy as he often brings up crazy exploits that no DM I've ever played with would allow like "everyone can just craft a broom of flying" and presents them like they are the norm. While only occasionally mentioning that you might need to check with your DM first.

Rather than dispute other videos specific points, focus your own arguments and perspective to present an alternate point of view without seeming combative. You could really drive your point home with some damage calculations, I bet Wrath of the Sea plus Spike Growth stacks up well at least in tier 1.

Flying brooms are dumb, no seriously... people need to actually play a class or at least test the math out People watching stuff take on the opinions of "experts" Youtube is very influential and can steer the opinions of others. 2024-12-07 23:27:50 +0000 UTCLet's also mention, everyone attacks con saves. Let's look at new monster design we know we have a nice handful of samples. Alot of them have lost con save proficiency. I see +0, +1 , +2 . Only creatures who still have con save proficiency or High con saves are the creatures which it makes since to have. Con save spells and features will work far more often. Not all the time more far more often.
