Also, I do think a halfling thief build might work better as a generalized build under the 2024 edition. Magic items look to be taking a more major role with common items, crafting rules, scroll use, etc.., and there are a lot of cool utility normal equipment items. Plus more climbing, jumping, supreme sneak, many fun things a Thief subclass can do.
