A month late, but thought I’d share! I’m playing a Lvl 7 Illusionist Wizard with the Alert feat, Silvery Barbs + Vortex Warp and we have a Creation Bard with Slow…I promise I watched this video after we made our choices, probably about a week ago 😃 Anyway, between the two of us we have been able to avoid several TPK’s even when one of our big damage dealers goes down, like last night when our Paladin rolled bad against a Medusa and got petrified. The Bard’s Slow combos really well with my Wizard’s versatility, letting me concentrate on other things and ultimately keeps the rest of our party alive when the unexpected happens. Between the 2 of us, as long as the rest of our party rolls decently well, it doesn’t matter what they choose to do in combat. Going to pick up Arcane Eye @ lvl 8 on your recommendation, once I have more 4th lvl slots to work with. Cheers!
