That's fair, I wanted to imply it as an alternate to raging not if you are raging, cause if you only dipped Barbarian to get reckless attack it's a unlimited use ability, but you have limited uses of rage and if you have your form up and running for hours on end, then it would not impact action economy in my many circumstances.

2023-01-08 08:12:16 +0000 UTCThat's true, but it's either a 2 or 3 round set up because wild shape (assuming moon druid), rage and shifting are all bonus actions. (You can wild shape with your action too, but that's not a good idea if you're also raging because you may lose your rage)

2023-01-06 14:45:47 +0000 UTCThe Wildhunt Shifter race from monsters of the multiverse can negate advantge against them while their shifted, not sure how that feature would interact with wild shape? but if it can be used than it could mitigate some of the drawbacks from using wild shape and reckless attack while your not raging.
