I gotta wonder...would it be balanced to just...give the pre-Tasha's sublasses something akin to psionic/clockwork spells?

2021-09-02 02:27:23 +0000 UTCTBH I am finding the biggest change Sorcerers need is the same as the game from 1974 on has needed - to move farther away from it’s Chainmail roots as combat driven. And this from a fan of Mountain Dwarf martial PCs and melee Clerics.

2021-09-01 00:36:06 +0000 UTCFYI, one of the benefits of the Quicken Spell Metamagic is the ability to use your action to Disengage, Dodge, or Dash while still casting a full-action spell with your bonus action. I've done this on a Divine Soul Sorcerer as an alternative to taking escape spells (which also proves your point about Divine Souls just having too much to choose from).
