I agree with your assessment on all counts. Guidance is on the artificer’s spell list but not the wizard’s, making artificer initiate more attractive. Telepathic is amazing for a druid or in an infiltration-heavy campaign.

2021-02-04 20:25:04 +0000 UTCThe thing on Artificer Initiate is that clause that you can cast the spell using ANY of your spell slots. That makes this feat, depending on the spell you take and if you are a caster of some kind, far superior to magic initiate in my book. I don't love either but that one aspect alone makes me far more likely to look at this feat.
