Patreon tax update

Hi everyone,

I have been informed by Patreon that some patrons will start to be charged sales tax starting on July 1st. Apparently this should impact less than half of patrons and it depends on the area which you live and the tax laws in that area.

You should get an email for Patreon in June that goes over the new policy, and hopefully few of you will be impacted, I think there are particular states in the U.S. that demand sales tax be added to pledges on Patreon, and links in the email they send should let you know if your pledge will be impacted.

I just wanted to give you a heads-up for what is coming, and again, hopefully few of you will be impacted.
