DZ_Character_Platforms ready for download #2 (WIP)

Hello again 👋

It is time for another publication, this time featuring different iterations of the character ''Renamon''. Things will go slightly differently this time around as models will be progressively released onto the main file link as they are each being reviewed then completed.

We will be starting with the Type B variant:

A notice will be posted over on Twitter https://twitter.com/DogZeela for each newly installed assets.

(A small update to the mane was also given to Renamon Type B, now the asset should have 3 versions at your disposal.)*

(Minor general tweaks were also published onto the Type B and Type C files involving a minor bug with roughness textures.)*

Now, what is next to be released ?

As some of you may have seen over on my twitter account, a new addon for Krystal Type B is underway as well as various other cross compatible addons. Other characters are also being worked on still.

- Renamon Type A_A (featuring more canon body parts while retaining Type A's silhouette)

- Taomon (Standalone Type)

- Aggron Type B (type variant available to the public)

The individual assets will be published right after as a standalone addon pack, these assets are 3d resources for either my models (present and future ones) or other models from other artists with good topology compatibility. 


General update : A lot has changed with the release of blender 4.0, the goal is to (hopefully) update each models along the way and get them ready for the transition. I am hoping to provide a new character soon before jumping onto the next big character pack : Toriel character pack.

normally i'm not into "curvy" girls, but type C is quite nice imo.

The knees are controlled through a target IK. They should show as either blue or red depending on whether it is the right or the left, the purple wheel should act as a ''tweak'' bone to add small extra control after a pose is created. Yellow bones should have properties attached to them with their respective descriptions, press them, and explore their functions.

i might be real dumb but how can i move the knees position ? i can only move them by moving the foots only im new to blender, but isnt there a way to make the knees move like to spread the legs without moving the feets ? when im trying to turn that purple circle on the knee it justs fold backwards somehow

Maybe I'm dumb but how the heck do you get the most up to date Taomon to stop doing her little "idle" animation? I spent so much time putting her in place only for her to just reset to the "default" state every time, and no amount of deleting keyframes helps.

Vrchat experimentations will most likely start in a month or two from now. Test will occur and hopefully, the process will be smooth enough that all technicalities are sorted out for me to progressively convert all models created.

Question - What are the plans for Vrchat conversion? I'm super interested. I see a post of it on your trello in July as a potential product, but no updates since. :3 I'll probably end up trying to attempt it myself.

2023-11-05 Alerted on performance issue (lower than usual) on Taomon file, a patch will be dropped addressing this issue by changing 16bit textures to 8bit textures by default.

2023-11-02 Small bug was found in the Taomon file, EYES SHELL textures were not allocated to the respective slots, this has been fixed (Bug: Pink eyes _ Cycles)
