A lot of these are filmed backstage/in the waitingroom/hallway for music shows. I have commented a few times about these music shows before but basically until maybe 2019-2020 music shows were the MAJORITY of bts promotional activities in korea. Shows like mcountdown, inkigayo, music bank etc air once a week year round so basically every time they released an album they would perform on ALL of these shows for sometimes 8 weeks straight. Meaning for example Tuesday would be music bank, wednesday mcountdown, thursday inkigayo ETC and this would repeat for up to 8 weeks straight. There used to be more of these shows too and groups from smaller companies usually perform on more because they need every opportunity they can get to promote. So they would go on less relevant or less viewed music shows, sometimes meaning 6 days a week they would have a show to perform on. This is a whole day event especially for rookies, because they get the worst time slots to perform in the artist line-up and the worst times for rehearsals, so they don’t have time to go home or go somewhere in between rehearsals and the live show, even if they had the earliest rehearsal time at like 6am they still needed to be there to greet senior artists in their waiting rooms and to greet producers of the shows to not look rude. The hierarchy culture at korean broadcasting stations used to be EXTREMELY rough, which is part of what Yoongi means when he talks about how he thinks a lot of things have changed nowadays at tv stations, but back in the day bts needed to bow their heads down and nod if the camera director of one of these shows decided to publicly yell at them in front of other artists. They needed to lower their eyes and say thank you and we will work harder. Basically what i mean to say is, a lot of bangtan bombs were filmed during downtime at these tv stations. Basically, they could be at a tv station from 4-5am to 11pm or even later to perform for 3 minutes on the live show. And do this almost every day between 4-8 weeks every time they released an album. If there is a tv with a random artist performing in the background of the video, or just a random tv screen on the wall somewhere, or a partition wall with their stage outfits hanging on it and makeup stations set up it is very likely they are backstage at a music show. They spent a lot of their time at tv stations, which is why they got so good at girlgroup dances! Sorry to info-dump 😅
