Thank you for the blog, it brought back all the memories fresh once again, only this time it was like you were with us ;). I have a train story, we didn't get off fast enough to Newark when traveling and got stuck going to Trenton about 15 mins from Philadelphia I was told. Someone was behind me so I had to pay for all of of us to take an Uber and get us to our hotels. $140 later we finally made it to Newark lol. That was not fun at the time, but a funny story now!!

(She wasn't the shusher..lol). I won't call her out here, but I thought I spotted her, called to verify and she was like "nah girl, no way" and then went "OMG it WAS me!!!!" I was squealing. She said you and your boyfriend were adorable and you were so cute! She is now a new sub on YT How small the world is! I love it. Also, I'm proud of you for bracing that drive and heat amd basically getting out and about NY. I was at an Army meetup the weekend prior and drove 4 days through 5 states! The heat was no joke. The car was fine but stopping for gas and food was brutal. I am used to it but those bigger cities are crazy. I was super stressed out, especially being alone. I broke my trip up to daytime driving only and stopped to sleep each night. I said I'd never drive again like that..planes only. I am glad you had Sassu and he is supportive and on the Army path too! We DO appreciate a supportive partner as a lot of us do not have Army friends, much less a partner who get it. Thanks for taking us along on your journey!

I hope you guys can come back to NYC some day to explore more! And not swarms, but you might see a rat or two in Central Park at night lol. I would say go to the part in the afternoon, anywhere along the waterfront at night!

The one time I was across "the pond" was 24 years ago--I was a teen, I'm an old lol--and it was to go to Ontario and our first few days it was 40 degrees Celsius and almost 100% humidity! As a Swede I almost died, the heat made me grateful to be sleeping on someone's basement floor ๐ You guys are so cute together, I'm glad you had fun! โบ๏ธ๐
