BTS 12 minutes of love REACTION ๐Ÿ’œ

omg i'm so glad i asked you guys for suggestions because i don't know how long it would've taken me to find this gem of an interview on my own BAHAH

seeing our kings be asked silly, simple questions on these american interviews is lowkey so entertaining!! i love hearing about their journey's and deeper thoughts for SURE but it's fun to keep things simple once in a while too!! I also LOVE the format of the members reading the questions themselves because we all know if you give BTS too much power over a situation, they have a very special way of spiralling into chaos very easily HEHEH

This is so interesting, thanks for sharing!!! Thatโ€™s how I teach medical terminology at work, by breaking down the words into their Greek and Latin roots lol

Taetae saying color change soup for hair dye is funny cause it kinda makes sense IF YOU ARE CREATIVE!! Get on his minds level! Ok so to explain; hair dye in korean is ์—ผ์ƒ‰์•ฝ (YeomSaekYak), which all three syllables have a corresponding chinese character with their own meaning. Tae was trying to directly translate each syllable with the english vocabulary he had at hand! Directly translated Yeom means something like to Dye or to tinge. Saek means color, and Yak means medicine or drug LOL thats why Joon was trying to correct him and say dyeing hair medicine cause soup is not the meaning of Yak, unless you associate the texture of liquid medicine with soup. I think soup was just what made sense in his head at the time and he was nervous too so YEAH! Taetae language: Color (Saek) Change (Yeom) Soup (Yak) Even though it is YeomSaekYak and not SaekYeomYak but i support him and his genuine attempt at linguistic analysis. He is so funny to me cause it is like if an english speaker was trying to translate a Greek or latin word literally. It sounds funny if we try to analyze words like Telephone or Bicycle etc. That is basically what he was doing with a chinese origin word in korean and then he translated it to english with its original meaning.

About the question what they fight about the most, the question in korean was moreso phrased like: What thing makes you quarrel the most? Basically so while yoongi said choosing a food menu, Jimin was saying Jin as another answer to what makes them quarrel. Basically, Jin makes him wanna square up LOL (verbally and lovingly). If i write it out: JM: Maybe, You! Everyone: Eh, what/how/huh/in what way? JM in korean: We quarrel/fight because of you Hyung! Jin: What kind? (aka please elaborate) JM in english: Sorry!
