I think my perception of idols in the k-music industry prior to getting to know BTS was that the industry felt a little "stuffy" and maybe it would be difficult for idols to express themselves the way they truly want to in fear of scrutiny from the public or even their labels but I honestly believe that BTS sets such a great example for others in their industry to let loose a little bit and to have fun!! Although idols are here for our enjoyment, watching them express themselves and their own personal identity is what truly draws me in to want to get to know them better and to deep dive into their music as well.
It feels so good to watch videos of BTS and constantly have the thought of "yeah, we (you veteran army) made the right people famousβ€οΈ

I love BTS and EXO friendships. π not just the ones you mentioned, but also suho and RM have always had lovely interactions, they seem to respect each other a lot. and of course Jimin and Kai's friendship is adorable. the fandom beef is so pointless π

BTS and EXO are actually really close friends despite the lame fan war between their fandoms that has gone on way too long (I don't get it; I'm a fan of both groups). SHINee, EXO, GOT7, and Seventeen are all idol groups that are good friends with the boys. There's actually an old joke where V said that Baekhyun of EXO is his "mom" and Daehyun of B.A.P is his "dad" because they look so similar. (I don't know V's relationship with Daehyun, but he's close with Baekhyun).
