Hey, I'm from Brazil! This performance video was great to see more of the choreo because in the official FIFA performance video Fahad had way more screen time during his part of the song (like you wished he did btw)

Things are scary, and songs with messages like this is very much needed 💜 It blows my mind that this song and performance is the kick off to his solo career 🤯 Him and his members have done so much since this, and they have also grown so much. And now we are 2 months away from the reunion 💜

2025-04-11 01:32:38 +0000 UTCAw I haven't seen this in so long 😭 the opening ceremony aired on TV here in the US but they dubbed over all the audio so it was the recorded version, I was happy that in other places they got to hear his live vocals. I think this is an edited JK stage mix so possibly why more focus on him than Fahad. Also loved how supportive the other members were, so many Insta and Weverse posts that day about how proud of JK they were 😭 what wonderful memories

BTS loves to use them all lol and the fact you are a Jin biased a he has so many songs related to the space in way is hilarious 😭 it always makes me giggle bc they really make you overcome your fears and dislikes 😂💜 Anyways I love Dreamers so much! I still remember how proud I was when he released this song and everyone I know saw his performance in the workdcup opening. He also had the best worldcup song that year which made me proud bc many non fans defended him. Also, I wish Fahad was in the studio version bc his part was so good and he was so excited when this came out. And I remember too some reporters or something from that country asking why they didn’t invite all the kookies (the other BTS members) 😭

I dunno. It was SUCH bad vibes, with a lot of people, even well-meaning bts fans, expressing disappointment in jungkook and calling for a boycott. I don't remember everything, but qatar was a controversial choice as a host country for a lot of reasons. like, their stance on lgbtq+ rights is super draconian, so many people felt unsafe traveling there. even worse, there were horrible human rights violations of the migrant workers building the stadium, plus corruption, environmental damage, and a bunch of other issues. Obviously it's super important to acknowledge and uncover all that, but it seemed like people were taking out their anger on jungkook for agreeing to perform, saying he should have known better and refused. they were arguing that by doing this performance, jk was expressing his complacency with all that. super gross stuff. I literally had to get off social media for a while, it was so nasty and upsetting to see. like, jungkook (and fahad) are just artists making music, and an extremely respectful, inclusive song at that. I wish I could have enjoyed it more at the time but everything around it left such a bad taste. 😭

He was performing on one of the biggest stages in the world and being Korean you would think the company would have shown more interest. No interviews of him or anything. Was very odd.. because then we didn't hear from him until February when he did his first live of 'chapter 2'. I dunno.. just it was super weird how everything was with thr company.x
