While I was working on my first pages of my manga I noticed that drawing all the difficult perspectives of the ship interior became quite tedious. Back at that time I also learned how to create a 3D scene in unity during my early semesters of game design. We used to create scenes with simple primitives and shapes not only to quickly prototype a level for our game projects but also to use numbers of screenshots for overpainted mockups. Since it was pretty easy to stretch and modify the simple shapes with the Unity editor I also started to create simplified versions of the locations and scenes from my manga. The lobby where Leroy used his Ultima to kill multiple floraptors at once was the very first 3D scene which I created for the manga project.

In the meantime I also added some corridors and halls of the later events to the Unity project. It may sound a bit too ambitious but I plan to recreate the whole SeaLion in 3D in the future. In fact, I noticed that I avoided a full view of the ship most of the time and in some extent it has to do with certain sections which I haven't outlined yet. It can be hard to stop with the conceptualization once you have started your project in Unity. However it will also take its time to get warmed up working with that program after such a long break again.
